21:16 That's it from Leicester where, I hope, plenty of racegoers will be boogieing so I can make a quick getaway. The next coverage will be from Ascot on Friday, until then good evening. 21:05 After a disappointing run by his standards Kieren Fallon runs a cracker in the last, making all on Pullyourfingerout taking the sting out of his rivals and coming home a length and a half clear - a very enterprising run. Aegean Destiny took second spot, having been settled around third place for most of the contest, whilst Cornish Beau, held up, made progress to come home third, a further length and a half back. The hard luck story in the race must be fourth placed Eastern Magic who met all sorts of trouble in running and who should have, at least, been placed. 21:04 Never stand between a commentator and his exit after racing - nearly knocked flying by John Hunt as he sprints to the car park. 20:53 Our final contest is the longest race of the evening, the 1m 4f Ibstock Handicap with only seven going to post with there being four non-runners. 20:40 A horrible race with the odds-on favourite Numeral obliging at 4/11 and if that was not bad enough backers then had to suffer a 20p in the pound deduction after A'faal refused to enter the stalls. Kiss N kick set the early pace with Numeral tracking. By half way Richard Hughes was fed up with teh pace and he sent Numeral clear. Kiss N Kick was soon under pressure and it was Mucky Molly who ran on to take the runners-up spot some 3 1/4 lengths behind, with Poppet's Joy back in third. 20:14 The Dingley Maiden Stakes over six furlongs is next with six going to post. A horrible little contest. Mucky Molly was very much on her toes, throwing the occasional rear and swishing her tail. The debutant London Avenue was also on her toes. The odds-on jolly Numeral looked OK but not at the price. Time for an each-way punt and Kiss N Kick could be an each-way bet to nothing. 20:00 Another good finish as the very well backed Moone's My Name took the contest, having been settled around third or fourth place before running on inside the final furlong. The riders learned from the last race and they came stands side with Layla Jamil setting the pace, tracked by Greenflash. Despite being keen Layla Jamil was still leading a furlong out before the jolly hit the front. Richard Hills found himself in a pocket on Bakoura but when the gap appeared they ran on well to get within three parts of a length of the winner, arguably an unlucky runner-up. Layla Jamil took third spot, with Zing Wing doing her best at the end to finish fourth. 19:42 Race four is another seven furlong contest, the British Stallion Studs EBF Waterloo Fillies' Handicap with nine going to post. Mon Visage, a big filly, was initially pulling before prancing round the parade ring like a dressage horse. Bakoura, looked nice and was a little jig-joggy. Zing Wing was swishing her tail. Loving Thought was pulling slightly. Another who looked nice was Loving Thought. 19:26 He may be small but Jubilance certainly has a motor as he takes this contest with ease. One of a duo, along with Benzanno, who came standside, they pulled well clear of their rivals, both looking impressive. Jubilance's winning diatance over Benzanno was 2 3/4 lengths with teh pair coming home five clear of their rivals, who all ran down centre of the track. Siouxperhero took third spot with Daring Damsel, who set the early pace, back in fourth. Hurricane Emerald came home fifth. One to watch out for in nurseries was sixth placed Fugitive Motel, who ran well and was not asked too much of. 19:08 Seventeen over the straight seven furlongs next for the Mowtown In Motion Maiden Auction Stakes. Jubilance is very tiny - looks like a pony. Shark In The Sea was getting warm. Fugitive Motel was a little on his toes as was Il Pazzo. Otherwise a pretty nondescript lot. 18:50 A very close finish to our second contest with judge Di Clark having to resort to the camera before calling Quite A Catch a short head winner over the favourite Chilledtothebone. Valdaw missed the break badly but was soon in front and was still leading two out with Quite A Catch and Chilledtothebone tracking, positions they had held throughout. Fallon produced Chilledtothebone to lead inside the final furlong but 3lb claimer John Fahy was not intimidated and fought all the way to the line getting the spoils. Fly By White had been almost last for most of the contest before being produced with a late run to finish third, 1 1/4 lengths behind the front pair. Crown Ridge came home fourth with the front running Valdaw back in fifth. 18:35 Race two is the Osbaston Selling Stakes over a mile with eight going to post. Voodoo Queen is appropriately named, she has red eyes and is also on her toes. Valdaw is a head shaker. Quite A Catch is pulling slightly. Chilledtothebone is the clear paddock pick. 18:18 Something of a shock result as the well backed, including a reported £120,000 win bet in a Coral shop, Pearl Blue was only able to finish third. Mazovian took the spoils, having taken up the running half way, and staying on strongly to record a comfortable two length victory. The runners-up spot went to the running on Aristeia, in rear early on before launching a late challenge. The favourite came home three-parts-of-a-length back in third, never really looking a serious threat despite being in a prominent position throughout. Reginald Claude was another in a challenging position if good enough but he had to settle for fourth place. Captain Dimitrios set the early pace but faded to beat only one home. 18:00 Our opening contest is the SIS Live Kimcote Handicap over six furlongs with ten due to face the starter. Aristeia is very much on her toes, Decadence is pulling slightly. On looks both Pearl Blue and Look Twice caught the eyes, although the latter was getting a little edgy. 17:24 The stage is here at Leicester again - this time it is a Mowtown in Motion concert - much as I like Motown I think I will give this one a miss.
17:15 Anybody travelling to Leicester from the South avoid the M1 - there has been a serious accident near J16 northbound with delays of 90 mins plus. 16:56 It looks like being one of those evenings - am having problems sending updates, fingers crossed it gets sorted soon. 16:41 Good afternoon from Leicester where it is overcast with no wind of note. I drove through some heavy rain about 10 miles away it's probably hit or miss if it arrives here. 14:32 Five non-runners at the moment. 08:14 The official going is Good, Good to Soft in places with a going stick reading of 7.3
