Nearer the time there will be comprehensive previews of not only the big race itself, but also the supporting races over the three day fesival.

An important note if you are planning to attend the Grand National festival -there is very limited on site parking and for each of the three days and this has to be booked in advance. There used to be a Park and Ride scheme but this has been stopped for 2010.

The easiest way to get to Aintree, and this is particularly true during the Grand National meeting, is by public transport. Aintree station is located across the road from the main entrance to the course and it is served by regular trains from Liverpool Central and Ormskirk. There is also a bus shuttle service in operation from Liverpool City centre to the course throughout the Grand National meeting.

Unfortunately due to accreditation issues (Aintree are the only major fixture in Europe who refuse to grant us full accreditation) we will be unable to provide any live updates from the three days of the Grand National meeting.
