On the outskirts of the town Kelso has two distinct circuits sharing a common home straight. The inner circuit is used for hurdle races is about a mile round whilst the outer, chase, circuit is 1¼ miles round. Both courses are left handed (anti-clockwise). The course is generally flat.

Admission:

Kelso operates a two enclosure policy with Members costing £16 (£20 weekends) and Tattersalls £12.

Location:

Located in the Scottish Borders Kelso is about 20 miles from the A1. The course itself is located just outside the town on the A698 road to Edinburgh, access is well signposted locally.

Ease of public transport access: Very poor (Rail to Berwick then 22 mile taxi transfer)

Suitability for the first time racegoer: very good
