Huntingdon is a right handed (clockwise) circuit of 1½ miles and it is totally flat throughout.
It is a jumps only course and it’s feature race is the Peterborough Chase which takes place in November.
Admission:
Huntingdon has now adopted a single enclosure policy with a £15 admission charge. There is a picnic enclosure (open evenings / weekends and Bank Holidays) with an admission charge of £8.
Location:
Located about 2 miles west of the town the racecourse is very close to the junction of the A1 and A14. Access is via a private road.
Ease of public transport access: Reasonable (Train to Huntingdon then free shuttle bus or 1.5 mile walk)
Suitability for the first time racegoer: very good
