One of two courses situated in Northern Ireland, Down Royal is a 1 mile 7 furlong circuit which is roughly square shaped. The course is undulating. Staging both flat and National Hunt racing the course, reputedly, Is the fastest 5 furlong track in Ireland
Admission:
Admission is to a single enclosure costing between £10 and £15, depending on the meeting.
Annual membership: £120 or £300
Location:
Located 16km south of Belfast or 4km from Lisburn, the course is close to the A1 Belfast - Dublin road.
The nearest station is Lisburn which has a regular service from Belfast.
